Heavy Hand Mirror

Heavy Hand Mirror is a memory, an adornment, a reflection pool. Offering a skewed perception of the present - distorted but warm and welcomed. This press-formed brass mirror speaks to a treasured, heirloom object and utilises gold & silversmithing techniques on a larger scale, pushing to the limits of production without using heat. Two domed ellipses, adorned, like one would a body, with reclaimed pearls studded delicately around the frame. Much like a memory, a fingerprint and a face, no two mirrors are the same.
